Teagan J. Ochaya Esq.

Teagan J. Ochaya is an Associate Attorney at Farrell Weaver & Okun.

Teagan joined Farrell Weaver & Okun in 2024 and has since gained experience over a broad range of criminal defense matters. She has assisted in preliminary hearings and jury trials, drafted post-sentencing motions and appeals to the Pennsylvania Superior Court, as well as post-conviction relief petitions and expungements. Teagan has worked cases ranging from summary offenses to homicides, participating in various stages of criminal proceedings.

Teagan earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, where she was a Dean’s Scholar. While at Duquesne Kline, she served as the Academic Chair of the Black Law Students Association, and participated in the Leadership Fellows Program, the Women’s Law Association, and the Trial Advocacy Program. During her final year of law school, Teagan volunteered with the Pennsylvania Innocence Project Clinic where she worked on appeals and post-conviction relief matters aimed at securing relief for individuals who may have been wrongfully convicted.

Teagan earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Akron graduating magna cum laude, as well as a Master of Business Administration Degree. During her undergraduate studies and MBA program, Teagan competed as a member of the University of Akron’s NCAA Division I women’s varsity volleyball team.

Teagan is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is a native of Mentor, Ohio.
